In the tradition of the Decentralized Networker Congresses, of the Incongruous Meetings and of the Obscure Actions, 2010 saw the international diffusion of a collective open project, that lasted twelve months, aimed at a shared detoxification from the art toxins that oppress our daily life (how many invites to exhibitions, events and presentations do we get every day?).
Hundreds of people in various parts of the world took part in the course of 2010 in ART DETOX therapeutic group meetings, they carried out “Insulation Tests” by visiting art galleries and museums with their head hidden in a paper bag or they practiced “Relaxation Tests” by sticking curative ART DETOX patches on their bodies, by playing water football in a small basin or by “combing dolls”. Are your ARTeries clogged with toxins too?
The final documentation of the ART DETOX 2010 project is finally ready, an illustrated booklet of 32 pages (texts in English and Italian) with inserts and original souvenirs (including the “Art Detoxed” badge created by Gumdesign), plus a multimedia cd-r with an ample selection of texts and images and an ART DETOX EP: five tracks of artherapeutic music exclusively recorded by Rod Summers (Vecdor featuring Korka Helgadóttir), Gina Pritti Tutti al Lago, Ratto Goal, Gianluca Becuzzi and Le Forbici di Manitù.
The cost of a copy of the publication with cd-r, air mail postage included, outside Italy is of € 15,00 or $ 20,00. Send International Postal Money Order (or cash hidden in a envelope) to: Vittore Baroni, via C. Battisti 339, 55049 Viareggio, Italy.

Nella tradizione dei Congressi Decentralizzati del Networker, degli Incontri Incongrui e delle Azioni Oscure, il 2010 ha visto la diffusione internazionale di un progetto collettivo aperto, della durata di dodici mesi, finalizzato ad una disintossicazione condivisa dalle tossine artistiche che opprimono la nostra esistenza quotidiana (quanti inviti a mostre, eventi o presentazioni riceviamo ogni giorno?).
Centinaia di persone in diverse parti del mondo hanno preso parte nel corso del 2010 a sedute terapeutiche di gruppo ART DETOX, hanno compiuto “Test di Isolamento” visitando gallerie e musei con la testa nascosta dentro un sacchetto di carta o praticato “Test di Rilassamento” applicando sul corpo cerotti curativi ART DETOX, giocando a calcio acquatico in una bacinella e pettinando bambole. Anche le tue ARTerie sono intasate di tossine?
La documentazione conclusiva del progetto ART DETOX 2010 è finalmente pronta: un libretto illustrato di 32 pagine (testi in italiano e inglese) con inserti e souvenir originali (tra cui il badge “Art Detoxed” creato da Gumdesign), più un cd-r multimediale contenente un’ampia selezione di testi e immagini e un ART DETOX EP: cinque brani di musica arterapeutica registrati in esclusiva da Rod Summers (Vecdor featuring Korka Helgadóttir), Gina Pritti Tutti al Lago, Ratto Goal, Gianluca Becuzzi e Le Forbici di Manitù.

As an added bonus to the reprint of the pioneering “networking” concept album TRAX 0982 XTRA conceived in 1982 by Piermario Ciani, available through Radical Matters Editions / Label (see the web_editions section of www.radicalmatters.com), Gianluca Becuzzi has created a new collective audio piece, TRAX NEWXTRA 2011 (Where Angels Can’t Land), involving the collaboration of five international musicians. This is an “extra track” assembled with materials from the same NEWXTRA sessions. / Come bonus aggiuntivo alla ristampa del pionieristico album TRAX 0982 XTRA ideato nel 1982 da Piermario Ciani e frutto di una “rete” di collaborazioni incrociate, disponibile tramite Radical Matters Editions / Label (vedi la sezione web_editions di www.radicalmatters.com), Gianluca Becuzzi ha creato un nuovo brano audio collettivo, TRAX NEWXTRA 2011 (Where Angels Can’t Land), coinvolgendo cinque musicisti internazionali.
