L’antiprodigio del corpo aggredito, minacciato, intaccato, corrotto, violato, per cause accidentali e processi naturali, dall’invecchiamento all’abuso.   • Già prima della pubblicazione ha suscitato curiosità la raccolta proposta dall’autrice fiorentina Rosaria Lo Russo , nota per aver tradotto e quindi fatto conoscere anche il Italia il lavoro di Anne Sexton. Partners‘ meeting at the poesiefestival berlin
From 17-24 June 2011 the 12th poesiefestival berlin will be exploring landscapes of words, sounds and music. Within this framework, the international network of partners of lyrikline.org will be coming together again on 19 June to plan future action and projects and to exchange ideas and experiences. They will include partners from Belgium, Belarus, China, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Catalonia, Croatia, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Puebla in Mexico, Québec in Canada, Russia, Sweden, Serbia, Slovenia and others.

For the fourth time, the poesiefestival berlin is taking place in cooperation with the Academy of Arts, this year right by the Brandenburg Gate. It features international poetry stars such as Marcel Beyer (Germany), Yves Bonnefoy (France) and Billy Collins (USA), the Cuban songwriter Silvio Rodríguez, singer and violinist Iva Bittová (Czech Republic), and writer and singer-songwriter Peter Licht (Germany) and many more.
An entire day will be given over to poets who have provided the soundtrack for the revolutions in Bahrain, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Lebanon. This year’s VERSschmuggel / reVERSible translation workshop features poets from France and Germany. The e.poesie event will be creating relationships between contemporary poetry and electronic music.
The poesiefestival berlin is funded by the Hauptstadtkulturfonds.

17 giugno, Ancona: La punta della lingua

Grande attesa per la giornata di venerdì 17 giugno che sarà dedicata alla poesia sperimentale e avrà come ospite uno dei più importanti poeti performer della seconda metà del XX secolo, il newyorkese John Giorno, nell’Auditorium Polveriera del Parco Cardeto “Franco Scataglini”, uno spazio ricavato dall’ex-Polveriera Castelfidardo, che per l’occasione sarà straordinariamente aperto alla cittadinanza (posti limitati).
L’incontro con John Giorno sarà preceduto, alle ore 18:30, dall’appuntamento “Googlism, copia-incolla e poesie cercate. Montaggi e smontaggi testuali ai tempi di internet” con Marco Giovenale e Gherardo Bortolotti, che discuteranno del rapporto tra prosa e poesia e delle ultime poetiche di montaggio internazionali, con letture e dimostrazioni di lavoro.
Alle 21:30 si terrà Thanx 4 nothing, reading di e con John Giorno (New York, 1936), figura chiave nel rapporto tra la Beat Generation e la Pop Art, instancabile sperimentatore di nuovi linguaggi e ibridazioni tra letteratura, arti figurative e musica. Impressionante la lista delle sue amicizie e collaborazioni: William S. Burroughs, Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, Sonic Youth, Diamanda Galas, Keith Haring, Lydia Lunch, Allen Ginsberg…

Il Festival prosegue sabato 18 giugno si terrà un evento speciale: una passeggiata notturna sui sentieri del Monte Conero, tra osservazione della natura e incisioni rupestri, in compagnia delle parole del poeta, narratore, regista e “paesologo” irpino Franco Arminio, con interventi musicali di Federico Occhiodoro (hang, tamburi a cornice) e Loris Baccalà (hang). Partenza dal parcheggio dell’Hotel Monteconero, Badìa di S.Pietro, ore 23, destinazione Pian di Raggetti. In collaborazione con Forestalp. L’escursione è gratuita ma i posti limitati. John M. Bennett and Davi Det Hompson played together in the mail from 1979 to 1983, and the record of that correspondence is reproduced here in full facsimile form. Their collaborations, mostly involving words, poems, stories, and visual poetry are truly unique: full of humor, mystery, conceptualism, and sudden unexpected turns at every corner. This unique edition was co-edited by Peter Huttinger and John M. Bennett and consists of material both never before available, and material originally published in scattered zines, here gathered together for the very first time.
