their first overview of performances done in the years 2003 till 2005.

Nata nel 1956 a Marsciano, in provincia di Perugia, Paola Febbraro ha vissuto e lavorato a Roma, dove si è spenta nel maggio 2008. Ha scritto molti testi per la radio e per il teatro.
Con la silloge Turbolenze in aria chiara (1994) è stata finalista al Premio “Laura Nobile”. Nel 1996 ha curato, per la rivista «Galleria», Lezioni e Conversazioni di Amelia Rosselli, nel numero monografico a lei dedicato. Ha partecipato varie volte al Festival dei Poeti ad Ostia Antica (1994-1999).
Ha pubblicato a fratello stefano (La Volpe e l’Uva, 2000) e La Rivoluzione è solo della Terra (Manni, 2002), come silloge vincitrice del Premio di poesia Renato Giorgi. Nel 2003 ha curato, per Stampa Alternativa, Ecchime, un’antologia di racconti e poesie di Victor Cavallo. Nel 2007 Biagio Cepollaro E-dizioni ha pubblicato Fiabe. Per Empiria è in uscita la raccolta complessiva delle poesie: Turbolenze in aria chiara.

“in questa breve sequenza, già in parte uscita su «bina», due elementi sembrano risaltare – forse – più di altri: la leggerezza di disegno delle linee (o un particolare tocco nel rispettare i contorni delle cose) e la morte. o anche: tenuità e negazione. il modo tutto particolare che Paola Febbraro ha di disarticolare un rapporto diretto tra questi due versanti, tra questi temi/forme, è una delle ragioni per cui si può e si deve parlare delle sue poesie come di scrittura di ricerca. perché nulla è dato per scontato. così non è scontato dire «io» e disporsi «in atto di non cancellazione»” [m.g.]
