La Casa delle donne per non subire violenza ha organizzato per l’8 marzo 2007, dal primo pomeriggio fino alle ore 18, un allestimento in piazza Maggiore (angolo via D’Azeglio-via IV novembre). L’idea è tanto semplice quanto creativa: mettere all’asta testi e poesie di scrittori e scrittici professionisti e non, che hanno deciso di regalare le loro parole alla causa della lotta contro la violenza alle donne. La raccolta delle opere avverrà per tutto il periodo precedente la giornata dell’8 marzo, durante la quale verranno esposte. Per tutto il pomeriggio saremo in piazza con un banchetto informativo e con l’esposizione e sarà possibile leggere i testi e le poesie e fare delle donazioni per poter portare a casa quella che si preferisce.
Il tema è libero. L’asta sarà aperta a tutti: a singoli cittadini, a enti, istituzioni, aziende.

the zswound project
There’s a a new project known as: ZSWOUND ( http://www.zswound.blogspot.com/).
ZSWOUND
=> Zswound is a mixilingual experiment which has been (very simply) implemented on a weblog platform. There are three entries:
==1) the blog itself (which is updated once or twice weekly and focuses on a wide range of practises including multlingual writing, pop translation, stolen languages, zaoum, automatically generated texts, etc etc)
==2) the “magazine” (which provides a monthly selection of authors presented on the blog; original works from contemporary writers as well as past references (Artaud, Schwitters) etc))
==3) the Kolkhoze (which is based on a concept inspired by BP Nichols’ Translating Translating Apollinaire: get one text (stimulus) and find as many alterations as we can)
=> Zswound is a work in progress which will remain online for 6-8 months (after that period the founders will decide whether it should be closed or expanded)
=> Zswound is not just about interacting / blending / aggregating languages, it will also look at translation and more particularly “dysfunctional”, homophonic or diverted translation.
=> Zswound, as the name suggests, will not remain on the page but is meant to be expressed and performed. This will be done in a number of places. Hopefully, recordings will be made and added to the site.
=> Zswound was created by CrashTest ( http://crashtext.wordpress.com/ ) which publishes an international magazine dedicated to experimental writing.
Ricordo di Ugo Cerrato

Beppe Fenoglio
Poco più di un mese fa, il 18 gennaio, moriva Ugo Cerrato. Da tempo sofferente, ha tenuto testa al male con riservatezza e con una tenacia fuori dal comune.
La vita e il nome di Cerrato sono legati strettamente a quelli di Beppe Fenoglio, di cui è stato amico fraterno: al punto da rappresentare, con la sua voce, i ricordi, i tanti documenti raccolti nel tempo – foto, ritagli di giornali e riviste, libri – un punto di riferimento imprescindibile per chiunque desiderasse conoscere più da vicino, in una dimensione anche “privata”, il Fenoglio del dopoguerra e degli anni Cinquanta. Ma gli si farebbe un grave torto se gli si riconoscesse il solo merito di aver saputo conservare la memoria dell’amico scrittore restituendone gli aspetti poco noti, rimasti nell’ombra della quotidianità.
Con la sua vitalità contagiosa, con l’altruismo e l’entusiasmo che ha mostrato fino agli ultimi mesi, Ugo Cerrato è stato infatti un autentico maestro di vita: un uomo appassionato e leale, combattivo, capace di tradurre – proprio come Beppe – l’esperienza della Resistenza in una lezione attuale, necessaria e urgente. Di qui l’impegno a partecipare, a narrare, a declinare, nei modi possibili, il senso di quell’esperienza: senza ometterne le ombre, sì, ma anche senza ridurne il valore.
Di questo, soprattutto, gli è grato chi ha avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo.
