A Work is a format of AGORÀ developed in collaboration with Giuseppe Garrera, in which the musicologist, art historian and collector will philologically analyse one work of his choice for each session.

24 May 1966. Galleria La Salita opens a sensational exhibition that hypnotizes visitors while marking a turning point in the world of art. This was the first solo show by a very young American student named Richard Serra.

Refuse from ragmen and trash pickers, poulterers and junk dealers scattered everywhere. Strange and fantastic objects, live and stuffed animals in cages, embarrassing wares hanging on the walls. All “horrible, but phenomenal” as Giulio Carlo Argan exclaimed.

Giuseppe Garrera has been the coordinator since 2013 of the Master in Economics and Management of Art and Cultural Assets at the 24ORE Business School in Rome.

The event takes place in the auditorium.
Free entry until seating capacity is reached.
