OUT IN THE LOOP is a new festival format on global pop cultures combining academic content with artistic performances and entertainment – reflecting on current issues and having fun are not mutually exclusive!
Amongst others, the programme includes a keynote by German philosopher Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Welsch, as well as Jiré Emine Gözen, Chair of the German Society for Media Studies or Artist, Director, and Designer Dorita from Tokyo. There will be various lectures on topics like the contrasting reflections of post-humanism, Organisms Democracy and animal prints, a performance on Britney Spears’ song ‘Toxic’ in slow-motion, concerts by None of Them and Lateena from Zurich, emerging artist Groove God Jair Darnoud from Amsterdam as well as some of the hottest DJs of the local party scene.
