CALL FOR ASEMICS

On Dec. 19th, in Rome,  I’ll deliver a lecture about asemic and illegible writing in the XX century. It will be not so different from the event held at the Swiss Institute in Rome last July, with the exception that this time I’ll speak Italian. For this occasion, I have activated an e-mail account in order to receive asemic stuff from anybody interested in asemics. Some works I’ll receive will be shown on a screen at the end of the lecture, as examples of the most recent production in this field. The same works will also be hosted by a blog after a week or two. Perhaps a pdf will be made too. The pieces that will be sent too late (e.g., Dec. 19 at 5pm)  will have a chance to be included in the blog all the same, if they will be selected.

Il 19 dicembre, a Roma, terrò una conferenza sulle scritture asemiche e illeggibili nel XX secolo. Non sarà molto diversa dall’evento che si è tenuto all’Istituto Svizzero in Roma nel luglio scorso, con un’eccezione: stavolta sarà in italiano, non in inglese. Per questa occasione ho attivato un account email per poter ricevere materiali asemici da chiunque sia interessato alle scritture illeggibili. Alcune opere tra quelle che riceverò saranno mostrate a schermo alla fine della conferenza, come esempi della produzione più recente in questo campo. Le medesime opere saranno inoltre ospitate da un blog dopo una settimana o due. Forse se ne realizzeerà anche un pdf. Le opere che arriveranno troppo tardi (p.es. il 19 stesso alle cinque di pomeriggio) avranno comunque la possibilità di essere incluse nel blog, se selezionate.
