“reversing the eye. fotografia, film e video negli anni dell’arte povera”: triennale milano, dal 17 maggio

La mostra, prodotta in collaborazione con Jeu de Paume e LE BAL, riunisce grandi figure dell’arte povera e altri artisti, fotografi, e operatori video che ne hanno condiviso il percorso, mettendo in luce il ruolo rivoluzionario della fotografia e le sue molteplici contaminazioni con altre forme di espressione artistica. Tra questi è presente Luca Maria Patella, il cui lavoro la galleria Il Ponte tratta da tempo.

Care.Cure.Curate: un viaggio verbale da leggere tutto d’un fiato ma anche una curva sonora non puramente melodica che raccoglie in un breve segmento un caleidoscopio di declinazioni possibili della parola cura. Una parola oggi a rischio di depotenziamento per il suo arrotondamento morbido, spesso ridotto a pratiche empatiche nell’universo delle micro-relazioni umane preferibilmente appaltate alla sfera femminile, e per la la centralità raggiunta nel periodo pandemico che l’ha resa anafora obbligata e abusata. [leggi ancora]

Care.Cure.Curate: a verbal journey to be read in one breath, but also a sound curve that is not purely melodic and that gathers in a short segment a kaleidoscope of possible declinations of the word cure. A word today at risk of depotentiation due to its soft rounding, often reduced to empathic practices in the universe of human micro-relations mainly assigned to the female sphere, and due to the centrality achieved in the pandemic period that has made it an obligatory and abused anaphora. [read more]

“ESCRIBAS – International Exhibition of Asemic Writing”

First Tour | FURB | Blumenau (Brasil)

The exhibition ESCRIBAS – I International Exhibition of Asemic Writing, promoted by The Virtual Museum of Visual Poetry in partnership with Instituto Imersão Latina, will be exhibited at the Universidade Regional de Blumenau – FURB. Recently exhibited at UFMG, the show brings together 26 works by artists from 18 countries, in the rare and still little-known language of Asemic Writing, setting up the first international collective exhibition of this modality held in Brazil.

Curated by Tchello d’Barros, a writer with 10 books published and currently living in Rio de Janeiro, the exhibition will be open for visitation between May 15th and 30th, in Bloco A of the FURB Campus 1, with free admission.
