MEE – Middle East Monitor: “israeli fighter jets struck medical warehouses near a hospital in the central Gaza Strip early Saturday”
MEE @ fb
(article here):
Israeli fighter jets struck medical warehouses near a hospital in the central Gaza Strip early Saturday, destroying at least half of the facilities and extensively damaging nearby tents sheltering displaced Palestinians, witnesses said.
Witnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army targeted the warehouses next to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, completely destroying two of them and the critical medical supplies within and setting fire to dozens of tents erected nearby.
The attack caused fear and panic among patients, displaced people, and residents in the vicinity of the hospital, they added.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.

The Gaza Health Ministry condemned what it called a “direct and systematic” Israeli attack on the warehouses, adding: “The destructive force of the missiles used completely erased two of the four warehouses at the targeted site and caused extensive damage to the other two.”
The strike also severely damaged the hospital’s adjacent outpatient clinic building and destroyed vital quantities of medical consumables and supplies directly linked to saving patients’ lives, it added in a statement.
According to the ministry, the early morning attack caused widespread panic among patients, their companions, and medical personnel.
It accused Israel of continuing to destroy what remains of Gaza’s health system while restricting the entry of medicines and medical supplies and preventing thousands of patients and injured people from traveling abroad for treatment.
The ministry called on the international community and UN, human rights, and humanitarian groups to intervene immediately, halt Israeli attacks, and protect medical facilities and personnel.

Continua a leggere
Urgent call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel’s violence

Urgent call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel’s violence and prevent pogroms by settler militias and the Israeli army across the West Bank.
In recent days, violence by settler
militias, enabled and supported by the Israeli army, has escalated across the West Bank, including the torching and destruction of Palestinian property, and the forced expulsion of families and communities. These attacks have been met with silence and inaction from much of the international community, allowing the violence to continue and intensify.
The event in the village of Tell (Area B) when a settlers’ “tour” in the village ended with the killing of at least 4 Palestinians and 1 settler and several people injured is leading to escalated violence in the area with settlers, ministers, and Knesset members calling for further revenge attacks which already started across the West Bank. Experience shows that these events can escalate quickly into mass pogroms when met with silence.
We call the international community to act now. Immediate pressure must be placed on Israel to stop further attacks, prevent pogroms and further killings, and ensure the protection of Palestinians, in accordance with Israel’s obligations under international law.

Andy Worthington: Holocaust survivors against the Gaza genocide
Andy Worthington
(fb post, Jul 19th, 2026)
Yesterday, on the latest National March for Palestine in London, this particular group of campaigners, Holocaust Survivors and Descendants against the Gaza Genocide, highlighted, as they always do, the absolute hypocrisy of any Jewish people anywhere supporting Israel’s ongoing genocide of the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip.
The group includes two child Holocaust survivors, Stephen Kapos and Agnes Kory, seated in the centre of the photo, and numerous other descendants of Holocaust survivors, and their message is irrevocably powerful.
They condemn Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, they compare their own experiences of Nazi oppression to the oppression currently inflicted on the Palestinians, they believe that “Never again” means “Never again for anyone”, and they take part in every protest to actively counter claims that the pro-Palestine marches are inherently antisemitic or represent “no-go zones” for Jewish people.
See the 25-minute documentary about the group, “Gaza it Rhymes With Me”, here: https://youtu.be/CRtbBnHDSjM

Aswrig – The Asemic Writing Gallery – will soon close its fb page
As a form of (late but sincere) protest against #facebook and its toxicity along with its ‘neutrality’ in front of the genocide destroying the Palestinian people, and against fb’s support to the genocidal State, in a few days Aswrig – The Asemic Writing Gallery – will be disconnected and all its content will be removed.

And, of course, other fb pages run by me will be deleted too.
Also, this post strongly suggests everybody to move from fb to the #Fediverse and other independent platforms.

In riferimento al 2025, verso la fine di questo post due giorni fa scrivevo che, according to the known figures, every 100 people killed, “the genocidal State slaughtered an average number of 83 innocents in order to eliminate 17 members of the Resistance”.

#memory _ Oct., 2025: “Israeli Soldiers Torched Food, Homes, and a Critical Sewage Treatment Plant in the Wake of Ceasefire Announcement”
«Soldiers called the mass arson of Gaza City their “final touches.”
«In the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump’s announcement on Thursday that both Hamas and Israel had signed off on an agreement to stop the fighting, the Israeli military launched an arson spree, setting fire to civilian infrastructure, including the destruction of an essential sanitation plant in Gaza City. After publication, the Israel Defense Forces told Drop Site it “is aware of the incident and it is being reviewed.”
«The destruction of Palestinian structures following the departure of soldiers who had used them as temporary bases has been a hallmark of Israel’s approach to Gaza for two years. In July, Israeli reporter Yuval Abraham collected testimonies from soldiers describing a myriad of arson methods. “Every Arab house we entered had olive oil […] We poured the oil on the sofas, on anything flammable in the apartment, and then we ignited [it] or threw in a smoke grenade. This was a common practice,” one of them described.»

#memory _ Nov., 2025, ‘Middle East Monitor’: “A devastating new study has found that more than 112,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip”
«A devastating new study has found that more than 112,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Israel launched its assault in October 2023. This figure, drawn from the most extensive demographic analysis conducted to date, far exceeds the official death toll and reveals a pattern of killing that researchers say mirrors past genocides documented by the United Nations.
«The study, carried out by researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Germany and the Centre for Demographic Studies Spain, was published in the peer-reviewed journal ‘Population Health Metrics’. The researchers estimate that between 99,997 and 125,915 Palestinians died in Gaza between 7 October 2023 and 6 October 2025, with a median estimate of 112,069.
«The findings are based on a wide range of data sources, including hospital records, household surveys and public death notices, and take into account the thousands of unregistered deaths caused by families being buried under rubble or unable to reach medical care.»

Maybe the more accurate article on the topic is this one, by Daniel Tester (Feb. 25th, 2026): https://www.middleeasteye.net/explainers/genocide-gaza-how-many-palestinians-did-israel-kill
It also reveals that «in August 2025, +972 Magazine reported figures from a classified Israeli military intelligence database [saying] that fewer than 9,000 Palestinian fatalities had been identified as alleged Hamas fighters. / At that time, the ministry in Gaza had recorded at least 53,000 fatalities, suggesting that 46,000 – or 83 percent – of those Palestinians killed were civilians.»
This, to me, means that –every 100 individuals– the genocidal State slaughtered an average number of 83 innocents in order to eliminate 17 members of the Resistance.

Tutti colpevoli / Alfredo Facchini. 2025

A post by Stephen Prior in fb: the israeli “aim was genocidal from the very first day”
Everybody now knows from the first week after October 7th that Israel had already planned to commit genocide, traditionally defined genocide, targeting a population because of their bloodline and trying to exterminate or move them.
Everyone knew this because Israel announced it.
Twice in October of 2023, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said out loud in a public speech, “The Palestinians are Amalek.”
Amalek, a reference that many in the West didn’t get, but everyone in the region understood. And it’s a reference to 1 Samuel 15, the first verses in it, which you should read because it tells you a lot about what Israel’s doing now.
Those verses describe God’s command to eliminate a tribe called the Amalekites. And not just the draft-age men, but all of them, including children and infants. All of them. Kill all of them. Destroy all of their property. Slay all of their animals. This is God’s command.
So when Benjamin Netanyahu describes the Palestinians as Amalek, twice in the first month of the Gaza operation, you don’t need to guess what the point of this is. The point is to destroy every man, woman, child, and infant in Gaza. And they set about doing that.
But it wasn’t just Netanyahu who said that. It was a lot of different authorities in Israel.
On October 9th—three days after the Hamas attacks—Yoav Gallant, the defense minister of Israel, their own Pete Hegseth, described his plans for Gaza, not for Hamas, for the entire territory, for the over two million people who live there. And we’re quoting:
“No electricity, no food will be allowed in. We are fighting human animals, not human beings, human animals.”
Well, that winter, the deputy mayor of Jerusalem responded, not to say, “Whoa, whoa, settle down, defense minister! Calling your opponents animals is, of course, genocidal talk.” No, the deputy mayor of Jerusalem thought he didn’t go far enough. He said this:
“They’re not human animals. They’re not human beings. They are sub-human.” And then he said that the Palestinians of Gaza should be buried alive with bulldozers. Which some, ultimately, apparently were.
You had both cabinet ministers in Israel and supporters of Israel in the United States making the same case in public from the very first day, “Kill indiscriminately, move them out.”
There were “discussions,” on the American Right about what we should do with those Gazans, the people who live there. “Move them to other countries—Egypt, maybe even the United States. Get them out, kill enough of them that the rest leave, so the survivors want to flee.”
So the aim was genocidal from the very first day. The Israelis announced it. Israel’s supporters in the United States seconded it, amplified it. And members of the US Congress on television, the people who are paying for this genocide, announced proudly, “That’s right. The Israelis have every right to kill civilians, and that’s why we are paying them and giving them weapons to do so.”
In addition to shooting children in the head, leaving toy bombs to blow their hands off, having a
‘shoot to cripple’ policy, bombing schools, hospitals and playgrounds, shooting people running for food drops, starving people, pouring cement in their water holes, setting up safe zones then bombing them, setting hospital tents on fire, shooting doctors to the extent Palestinians give them street clothes so they aren’t shot wearing hospital scrubs, executing hospital staff and patients and burying them in mass graves, bombing aid stations, trucks and ambulances, blocking over 1,000 aid trucks, they have run over 100s of people with bulldozers while still alive. If you support Israel, you are evil. It’s that simple. If you provide them with money and weapons there is probably a penthouse suite in hell waiting for you.
Stop. The. Genocide.
